Christmas Costumes
In the iconic words of Noddy Holder and Slade, It's Christmas!! They aren't the only ones getting excited as the festive season dawns on us once again though. Christmas is a time for people to let their hair down and have a good time?and what better way to celebrate than with Christmas fancy dress?!
From a beard white as snow, to a belly that shakes like a bowlful of jelly, Santa is the ultimate symbol of Christmas. It's no surprise then that people get a great amount of joy dressing up as the big red man. Santa costumes, with the all important Santa hat are as common at Christmas as a turkey dinner. But that's not a bad thing, as spreading the festive spirit, be it at a party or pretending to be Santa for your kids, is the most important thing.
For Santa's little helpers, there are plenty of sexy Santa, or Mrs Claus costumes around that'll get people blushing, and not from too much brandy! These womens fancy dress costumes generally include a revealing dress with a Santa hat and are of great quality. So if you see a group of scantily clad figures running around with mistletoe, don't be alarmed- the Christmas season brings out the need to party.
For many children, the Nativity play is the other main event to look forward to at Christmas. For their parents, it's a mad scramble to get hold of an outfit. These days however some quality costumes are available online, and don't cost an arm and a leg, or any gold, frankincense and myrrh. It's really easy to get hold of camel costumes, shepherd costumes and the all important angel costume; you can even get Arabian costumes for the 3 wise men! As such, while the nativity is great for kids, adults no longer need to stress.
Thanks to Will Ferrell and his movie Elf, the demand for outfits of that ilk has soared. Indeed both adults and children are able to wear an elf costume and not look out of place. Most elf costumes come with some sort of jacket, trousers and a really cool elf hat, but it's also possible to pick up some brilliant elf shoes- some even come with bells on!
Christmas is undoubtedly the best time of the year for everyone, and should have many happy memories associated with it. So like Wizard, let the bells ring out this "chrismas" and make sure you're stocking is filled with the ideal costume.
